MAJA BUM! RC COLA!

Salvador and Kim are set to do a commercial for a brand of softdrinks.
Kim and Salvador had a lunch meeting October 1.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Kim said that he is really excited to shoot a commercial with Salvador, whom he finds very pretty and charming.
For Salvador, she said that she's also happy to do a project with a member of the country's favorite Korean group -- BOF.
"Yes, I'm a fan of Boys Over Flowers and finally you are here na (looking at Kim). Gagawa kami ng commercial at ito nga ang RC Cola, and sobrang laki at excited ako na maka-trabaho siya," Salvador said.
Kim said he's thankful that he will be able to work with Salvador and vowed to watch Salvador's upcoming television show "Nagsimula Sa Puso."
Kim said that it was his first time to visit the country, and he is really amazed with the hospitality of Filipinos.
"It's actually my first time to be in the Philippines and I’m amazed with the fresh air and nice people," Kim said in Korean.
Like other international stars, Kim said that he is also aware of what happened over the weekend when tropical storm Ondoy flooded the country.
The Korean star said that also feels sorry for the victims of Ondoy.
Kim said he is really thankful to all his Filipino fans.
“Thanks for loving a foreign actor. Physically I’m in distant, but I’m always with you. I'm always strengthened with your cheers!” Kim said.
Kim said that he also wants to spend more time with Filipino fans, but unfortunately he doesn't have enough time during this visit.CRISTINE DUMAPO SA BUBUNG!
MANILA - Eva Fonda star Cristine Reyes is trapped on the roof of her home in Marikina City following the downpour from tropical storm “Ondoy” that has also left many areas in Metro Manila and nearby provinces flooded.
In a phone interview with ABS-CBN News on Saturday, Reyes tearfully appealed for rescue teams to help them.
“Sana may dumating na rescue kasi kanina pa kami dito ng 1 p.m. Kapag hindi pa tumigil ang ulan aabutin na kami sa roof. Hindi ko alam anong gagawin namin,” Reyes said.
Reyes said that the flood already reached the second floor of their house, forcing them to move to the roof.
“Lagpas na ng puno. Nakarating na siya sa second floor. Pinasok na yung mga rooms namin, so konti na lang, dito na siya sa roof,” she said.
Reyes fears for the safety of her family as flood waters continue to rise because of incessant rains brought by the typhoon.
“Mommy ko kasi, hindi marunong mag swim at may kasama akong dalawang bata,” she said.
On the roof with the actress are her mother, a sibling, two children, household helpers and some neighbors.
“Mommy ko, pamangkin ko--dalawang bata--isang five years old at isang three years old. Tapos yung bunso namin, yung PA ko, yung maid namin, tapos driver tapos yung kapitbahay namin pumunta na dito sa roof namin kasi mataas yung house naming,” she said.
Reyes’ road manager earlier sent a text message to ABS-CBN to ask for help to rescue the star.
The road manager said that Reyes needs to be rescued as her house located at Provident Village in Marikina City is already flooded.
The sister of Ara Mina was recently nominated in this year's Seoul International Drama Awards for her role in ABS-CBN's defunct hit series, "Eva Fonda." Reyes is also shooting a movie, "Patient X," with actor Richard Gutierrez.
The sexy actress was supposed to co-host the “Rockatropa” concert tonight with Wowowee host Valerie Concepcion and Bubble Gang’s ‘Iyo Tube’ sensation Moymoy Palaboy.
However, the concert scheduled at the SM Mall of Asia has been cancelled due to the tropical storm. The concert, which will feature bands including Parokya ni Edgar, Itchyworms, Kamikazee, Sandwich, and Bamboo, was supposed to be held at 6 p.m.
“Ah, after the rescue nag-shut-off ako. Matagal bago ako nakatulog. Maraming flashes na pumapasok sa isip ko. Pero nagpapasalamat ako sa parents ko na nagtiwala sila sa akin. Lumakas ang loob ko dahil naniwala sila na kaya ko,” pahayag ni Richard.
Sa kabila ng ginawang pagtulong ni Richard may mga sumisingit pa rin na mga intriga sa pagsagip niya kay Cristine. “I feel bad for those people na nag-iimbento at nagiging negative. Ginawa ko na lahat ng magagawa ko para makatulong and they still manage to say some things like that. I feel bad for them.”
“It’s that text that’s circulating and again it’s a negative thing, I don’t want to talk about it.”
May iba pa ba siyang nailigtas bukod kay Cristine? “Uh, meron pa.” Ilan ang nailigtas niya? “Uhm, si Cristine and may isa pa.” “Uhm, we’re friends and siguro mas magiging strong ang bond naming dalawa ngayong pinagdadaanan namin ito.” “I can’t say that. Pero I don’t know. But right now, we’re really good friends.”
Cristine owes Richard her life. “Wala, eh. Parang I can’t think of anything na…parang ayoko namang humingi ng kapalit pero …wala, wala akong maisip,” tapos ni Richard.
CASS PONTI
Like her fellow Pinoy Big Brother ex-housemates, Cassandra Ponti doesn’t have any idea what the Double Up season means. “Wala ako idea kung ano mangyayari. Hula ko kasi dalawang bahay, dalawang grupo ng housemates, dalawa mananalo.”
But what is clear to Cassandra or Cass is that the reality show opened up a lot of opportunities for her. Cass said she has no regrets about joining PBB and that if she had to do everything all over again, she’d do the exact same thing. “Wala akong babaguhin, yun pa rin kung ano yung nakita nilang Cass sa first edition, yun pa rin siguro. Ayokong baguhin kasi un yung minahal ng tao sa kin yung pagiging natural.”
She has done a few movies and TV shows, her most recent project being Your Song Presents Babalik Kang Muli. Though she does not have anything lined up yet, she is happy that she has more time to focus on the farming business she recently opened in Davao. “Masaya ako kasi after PBB nagkaroon ako ng maraming work. And now, pabalik-balik ako ng Davao kasi naka-put up ako dun ng maliit na business. Doon napunta pera ko after PBB, nag-ipon talaga ako. Kasi lumaki kami sa farm so yung business ko farming din. Banana plantation, dun ako nagfo-focus ngayon.”
While her business may be booming, Cass’s love life has been the opposite. The sexy DavaoeƱa has been single for four years now so she can focus on other things. “Sa ngayon wala pero happy ako kasi meron na akong pamangkin, first pamangkin ko kasi nag-asawa na yung kuya ko. Sa ngayon kasi work muna tapos business muna kasi nagsisimula pa lang yung business ko so dun muna.”
Bianca Gonzalez modernize dora
Bianca Gonzalez is very thankful that she and her loved ones were spared from the devastating flood brought by Typhoon Ondoy last September 26. At the press conference of Pinoy Big Brother Double Up, Bianca shared with ABS-CBN.com her own Ondoy experience. “Hindi na ako nakaabot sa Entertainment Live because I was stranded on EDSA for around six hours. Pero I’m blessed that my home, family, and other loved ones are safe. I think this whole week we should all do what we can to help those victims of the calamity.”
Unfortunately, Bianca became ill the following day so she was unable to help out in the telethon organized by ABS-CBN to raise donations for the victims of the calamity. But while resting in her home, Bianca, a self-confessed Internet addict, opened her laptop and figured out another way to help. “Internet power na lang ako. I went online sa Twitter, blog, to tell other people how they can help, where they can send their donations. I think this week napatunayan ‘yung power ng Internet. Ang dami kasing hindi nakakaalam kung paano sila makakatulong. Pero isang simpleng mention mo lang sa Twitter or Facebook ang dami nang nai-inform. I know of several stories na nanawagan sila sa Twitter kung okay ba ‘yung kakilala nila. Tapos biglang may nag reply na nahanap na raw ‘yung tao and okay na. It was so amazing to see the power of technology. Kung wala siguro ang internet at cellphone mas marami pa ngayon ang nahihirapan.”
The next day Bianca went to the relief operation center in Pasig to help out in the repacking of goods. She also told ABS-CBN.com that she felt sad for her friends in Entertainment Live who were affected by the flood. “Sa Entertainment Live family namin ang daming naapektuhan. Our director, executive producer. But thank God ngayon medyo okayna sila. Kami sa show we’re doing the best we can to help ‘yung mga katrabaho naming nasalanta ng baha.”
Still there is a reason for this 26-year-old to be happy because she is set to host Pinoy Big Brother Double Up again with Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez. Bianca said that she is excited to be doing the hit reality show again with two of her closest friends. “Dahil Double Up ang season e double din ang effort namin na pagandahin pa ‘yung pagho-host ng PBB. Naghahanda na kami sa super bongga naming kickoff sa Sunday, October 4. Also matagal na rin since we last did eviction night together. In the past seasons usually dalawa lang or isa ang kasama ni Luis Manzano. Ngayon sa buong season kaming tatlo nina Mariel at Toni ang magkakasama every eviction night.”
In spite being hosts of the show, Bianca confessed that she, Mariel, and Toni still have no idea what to expect from this Double Up season. Bianca said that she ready to be surprised on Sunday for the grand kickoff. “Sobrang wala pa akong alam hanggang ngayon, kahit tungkol sa housemates o sa house. Pero give up na ako. Tanong ako nang tanong pero ayaw naman nilang sabihin. Malamang sa opening night na namin mismo malalaman, kapag live na kami at inabot na sa amin ‘yung script. Or kapag nagsalita na si Kuya mismo. Okay lang naman ‘yun kasi at least may excitement pa rin sa part naming hosts.”
Before becoming a host, Bianca was a housemate of the PBB Celebrity Edition in 2007 where she became the third runner-up. As someone who had lived inside the famous Big Brother house, Bianca has this advice for the new batch of housemates. “Importante talaga ‘yung pakikisama, in all forms. Whether i-greet or mag-smile ka lang sa kasama mo or tulungan mo siya sa gawaing bahay or problem niya. Itong lesson na ito hindi lang siya important sa loob ng bahay but also sa totoong buhay.”
